Andrew has been active at the interface between industry and Parliament for over twenty five years, via government relations organisations such as PITCOM (the Parliamentary IT Committee), the Information Society Alliance (EURIM), the All Party Communications group (apComms) and the Industry & Parliament Trust (IPT).

He has given evidence to Parliamentary Select Committees, written briefing papers for Parliamentarians and at the international relations level has represented the Council of Europe, the Czech Republic and the Swiss Parliament in European conferences, and participated in international inter-governmental forums, such as the Global Forum in Naples.

He is also a Director & Governor of The Democratic Society (an NGO promoting democratic re-engagement in the UK).
